Oracle Pros, Cons and Advice to Management

Pros

Large company with name recognition. If you can make it through the interview process and get hired you will probably be able to get yourself hired anywhere. If you can work in Sales and make it you'll do extremely well financially.

Cons

If you do not play the political game you will fail here. It is a good-old-boys club and all respect should be given to the co-President for her ability to crack the code. Beware that favoritism runs throughout the company and the Sales force is cut-throat.

Pros

It's a nice company and gives freedom for employees to make decisions. It has good work culture and experience senior management with great support to their subordinates.

Cons

Not all managers are great even though some managers are excellent. You'll get irritated with some kind of management. But, you can't do anything except trying for internal transfer or trying outside.
