      Good place to work if you are looking for stability, not good if you are looking for professional growth.

      Pros

      It's a global company, leader in it's field, always looking ahead, it has recognition in the market, sometimes to the level that it is overwhelming for clients.

      Cons

      It's just a branch, no meaningful opportunities for professional advancement within Canada. In particular Oracle Direct, it is considered as the 'call center' of Oracle, and eventhough your senior management will be requiring you to be strategic in your work, the compensation only compensates the ones who meet the metrics (eg. average 50 calls per day, etc) If you can't deliver that on a consistent manner, you could be in serious problems.

      Pros

      work culture is very good and friendly, flexible timing and support in case of personal difficulty

      Cons

      salary is very low compared to others in the market. need to be good in politics to get the right oppurtunities. you need to have good terms with people higher up to get implementation opportunities. There is no policy, or rather the policy is not followed for appraisal.

      Open work culture , abundance of learning opportunities, very good HR practices , you get to interact and work with some of best and brightes in the industry, Another best and very extremely progressive HR policy is job rotation …you are entitled to seek opportunities within Oracle… other group after spending 12 months with businesss group which hired you…this policy practiced in both letter and spirit Support processes are extremely employee friendly Its awesome experience especially if are associated with sales/market facing groups…you get to work with some of the extreamly motivated and the highly talented folks

      Sometime loyalty to manager /boss supersedes meritocracy
