      Pros

      - Large company, lots of different groups - Leading player in databases and storage servers - Nice gym - Free Friday lunches for new college hires and many free events/outings - Flexible work hours - Pretty campus - If you are lucky to get into a good group, then your coworkers and your manager are probably smart and know what they are doing

      Cons

      - Overall the atmosphere is not as vibrant as lots of other silicon valley companies - Limited vacation days (13 total for employees working under 3 years) and public holidays (8 total) - Some groups are not nearly as good as others

      Pros

      Most of the people on development teams are excellent to work with.

      Cons

      We work under tight deadlines, typically with a shortage of resources since hiring is usually frozen. Oracle does not give raises (not even cost of living increases) and does not provide pay grade information.
