Pros

Great people, good pay if you get lucky.

Cons

In my time at Oracle I watched coworkers get emotionally bullied by their direct manager (regardless of performance, which in 2/3 cases was not an issue), saw a coworker get a promotion, then have it taken away from her after she had started the new role, I saw a guy with 0 integrity and pathetic quota attainment get promoted to field because he was a part of "the boys club," and day after day, saw shady field reps put their names on deals they had nothing to do with and rake in $10, $20, $30k checks while their hardworking inside sales counterparts get paid little to nothing on these same deals. This place is so crooked, and the management teams pretend they have no power to change it. Oracle is losing the cloud game. Oracle could not care less about its employees. The class of program is the biggest sham/waste of money I have ever, unfortunately, been a part of. Recruiters and interviewers lie about the BDC/SMD/SBD roles to get butts in seats because turnover is so high. Burlington, MA is a hell hole for millennials. I could go on forever....

Pros

- As part of the Oracle enterprise, the health benefits and sick time are quite good and the 401K matching is decent, albeit only fully vested after four years. - The break room is nice, assuming you find time to use it. - Multiple opportunities to train (allegedly).

Cons

- Micro-management to death: Oracle uses proprietary software to track when you log in, for how long, how many calls you make and take, how long your calls are, how long your breaks are, and how much you're available to take calls. You will be repeatedly hassled if you're not available. - Training is non-existent: You will be expected to take calls and support a software with meager-at-best training. Training comprised of watching a few video playlists about how to handle service requests. After two months, we finally had an on site person train us for an hour a day for 2 months. During this time we were still expected to take calls. - Unrealistic expectations: Management's expectations for worker productivity are so high, half the department has been written up, which certainly doesn't improve morale.

Pros

1. excellent work-life balance, depending on the team, you might even only need to work 4 hours a day 2. excellent health insurance 3. excellent on-site gym (though its not free)

Cons

1. no salary raise, ever. I have been working here for around 5 years and only got raise for $2000 2. no annual bonus. This might be case to case but I worked in both QA and Dev Department and I never got a cash bonus, only stock options or RSUs. 3. You will feel disappointed to know that a new college hire is making much higher than you (as a senior member worked for more than 3 years in Oracle) 4. So many layers of managements, lack of consolidation
