Pros

It’s a paycheck and the benefits are good

Cons

Treat employees like dirt, especially Cerner transplants. They cancel every other focal cycle. Ratings and promotions are very limited and they pit employees against each other like the hunger games.

Pros

- Smart, talented group of co-workers - Flexible, hybrid work-life balance - In general, never had a problem taking time off or time out of my day to attend my kids events or go to medical appointments. - Good benefits - Corporate takes work-life balance seriously; tries to be supportive of employees career paths and goals - Good opportunities to broaden development skills and continuous learning.

Cons

- Pay seemed to be under market value - Sometime unrealistic expectation from upper-middle management for teams to do more with less - Such a large company .... it can be difficult to make sense of some of its policies. Too much red tape to get what you need when you need it. - Sometimes felt like there was a regular expectation of working weekends to meet deadlines, but company is so big that this isn't true/consistent across the org - depends on business unit and management team.
