It's very risky to join Oracle. It's a huge company and you have no way to find out if the BU you are joining is doing well or not. It's literally impossible to find out. I had no idea I will be laid off in six months due to massive layoffs worldwide. I joined this company thinking I will get work life balance plus stability. What I found instead is a management is myopic, no roadmap, no vision, incompetent, and

Depends which group you are joining. I joined a group which was worse than a startup. No bonus, no stock, no annual hikes, and everything was ridiculous.
