      Some fun coworkers, entry level experience

      Cons

      Insincere management, discriminatory tendencies, they encourage long work days even though they claim to promote work/life balance. If you want to move up and be recognized by director then you need to be white and work 16-24 hour days. Staff is visibly exhausted and looking for their way out. They keep up the fun culture facade for 6 months and then their true colors show. Pay isn’t competitive compared to how much they expect from associates.

      Won't be able to keep track of time

      Cons

      They expect you to work from 8am to 7pm. Most of the positions are full time so that they do not have to pay overtime. The unlimited time off is a lie. The managers are aggressive about wanting time off. The working conditions are bad. No EH&S system in place. Food is placed right next to instruments with human blood samples. No barrier between office area and BSL2 environment. Termites in the building (Menlo Park), clogged sewer system, broken HVAC. For a Cell therapy company, they have only 2 flow cytometers.
