Pros

Great place to work good pay and management has always been great. The management at my branch is always willing to help out with anything to make US more successful and the Benefit package is very generous. I plan on staying with this company till I retire.

Cons

The new mileage program isn't as good as the old program

Pros

You can set your own schedule to a degree. Management is pretty hands off as long as you are not causing any problems.

Cons

Not really any chance of promotion. Raises are pretty rare and are pretty minimal. Not much in the way of mentorship and guidance from leaders.

Pros

Well known name in the building materials distribution industry... but that could be a bad thing also.

Cons

Constantly changing management. If your a crappy manager, they will just shuffle you around to new fancy named positions. If your friends with the Hart's, you will go far, if not, good luck! Everyone else is expendable. Constantly changing compensation packages to suite the profitability of the company and benefit of the management. Management makes incentive pay for cutting costs on the sales team, and that also includes salaries. Management is full of a bunch of "YES MEN" no spine to fight for what is right for the employees. There is soo much management now that one wonders if this is a government agency now rather than a private organization. Micro-management is out of control.
