      Heavy emphasis on correct, quality solutions in the codebase rather than quick-and-dirty solutions Remote-friendly Good benefits Weekly one-on-one meetings with team leads Good use of third-party project management tools Healthy respect for the needs and preferences of developers (some of the founders are still active devs) Small teams

      Cons

      Relatively old codebase with a lot of technical debt Limited industry education during onboarding, you have to learn the industry jargon on your own Daily meetings

      Pros

      I have not been disappointed with my decision to join Origami. I am surrounded but intelligent, hard-working colleagues who help me to be my best every day. The environment is fast-paced and the work is interesting and challenging. I definitely know I am progressing my career by being a part of this team.

      Cons

      The company is growing rapidly so processes go out of date quickly. Everyone is aware and is committed to ensuring process improvement. Not necessarily a con but you have to be ready for frequent change.
