One of the two hospital systems in town.

Cons

High nurse patient ratios, promotions and transfers blocked by managers, no promotion from within. Recently observed a very meticulous, dedicated caring employee of 5 years finish nursing school and have to leave the company to go to a competitor because no one would promote this person within the organization. This person was everything you could want in a nurse or employee and yet they would rather lose this person completely than help their employee grow, like they say they do. Management will ask you to stay over or come in to help on your day off and then "flex" you and send you home on your regularly scheduled day to keep you from getting overtime. They will not tell you you are going to be flexed until 2 hrs before your scheduled shift, so you can't even make alternate plans ahead of time. Conditions have been steadily deteriorating for quite some time now.

Pros

Orlando health tries to hire a big number of employees on a regular basis. In this recent events Orlando health gives above the average compensation packages to employee which makes the employees happier.

Cons

I hate this company. It sucks. It treats foreigners badly. It does not hir easily. It s quizzes all the power of the hourly employment. It deducts 30 min from your working time. It requires you to be there at early 6.00 am mornings. It does not pay higher hourly for overnight shifts.
