Pros

Staff is friendly and eager to help one another. (For the most part; surgical techs and other staff will frequently attempt to put the blame on SPD for their own mistakes.)

Cons

Worst management this worker has ever seen. Surgeons are granted complete priority regardless of how it may harm the staff considered "below" them, particularly the custodians and SPD techs. (For example, after multiple members left the SPD and janitorial staff, the cases did not slow down or change to accommodate for the department being short-staffed.) This has led to both parties being overworked, underpaid, and has driven away further staff, yet still no changes in sight. Despite promises made in the interview, this worker also noticed that opportunities for career growth never seemed to appear. The amount that is taken from one's paycheck for certain benefits is also completely obscene.
