Pros

I’m pleased to say that my time here has been extremely beneficial for my professional development. Though it took longer than I’d hoped to finally receive a promotion, my supervisors followed through on their promises to give me more responsibility once I proved that I felt comfortable with my duties. In short, my experience has been and still is fantastic!

Cons

I’ll mention this again: they are slow to promote. At the end of the day, it isn’t the worst thing in the world, but it’s something to keep in mind if you’re very growth oriented.

Pros

A great variety of work that gives good exposure to various areas of corporate law. It is a socially conscious place that tries to do the right thing with some genuinely nice people.

Cons

Typical toxicity of big law: no work life balance and considering associates as cogs in a wheel. This also manifests in the tendency to put client demands (sometimes unreasonable) above all else to an unhealthy degree.

When a law firm manages to substantially expand its reach while delivering excellent quality of care for both clients and employees alike, you can be sure that they’re doing something right. I can personally attest to their remarkable culture as well as their ability to promote superior performance while keeping us happy.

Cons

Working here requires a level of dedication which many people aren’t ready to give.
