Pros

Work is extremely interesting/complex; firm is very diverse; partners seem to genuinely care about your development as a lawyer and promotions seem to be possible (albeit difficult, of course); offices are surprisingly integrated; colleagues are generally brilliant; compensation is highly competitive

Cons

Hours can be long/exhausting (in part driven by the workaholic nature of the industry)

Pros

Firm is well-run and transparent; during COVID there were a lot of surveys and regular meetings to update everyone; firm culture is good and people are interesting and for the most part friendly and willing to provide assistance and mentorship.

Cons

Hours can be brutal; client expectations are often unreasonable and partners for the most part do not push back

Pros

The company offers good benefits to you and your family. It’s very generous. Work-wise, you will positively be forced to mature quicker than you expect because you are dealing with such high profile cases.

Cons

Exhausting load work and high expectations.
