You are very close to the airport, so that you can watch the EAA flyin.

Cons

Restrictive, uninspiring atmosphere. Not a lot of perks. No break rooms or lunch rooms. Rigid and almost pugilistic attitudes. Raises and promotions almost non-existent. Contributions not valued. Job security is lacking.

Salary. The pay is definitelycompareableto the industry standard but there's a cap. So the mechanic 1 & mechanic 2 make the same salary regained less of years

Cons

Job security is not where it could be in the defense department. Every year thereslayoffs which leaves a higher turn over rate = more training
