● Worked from my home office to continually market myself to several different freelance firms, to showcase my skills to ensure that I was chosen for the most interesting, long-term or short-term, meaningful projects that aligned with my career goals, to drive personal career growth
● Create several different items, such as E-Books, presentations, ghostwriting projects, data entry projects for customers , by conducting myself in a professional and timely manner
● Worked on a particular E-book that was sent to the state of Texas HHSC, which is the board that approves classes for continuing education massage therapists. The E-book is now being used in the classroom for continuing education massage therapy students to learn more about the specific topic of Human Trafficking, and how it relates to massage therapists, since it Texas sees the second highest number of Human Trafficking in the United States. This project was super meaningful to me because of the issue, and the fact that I was able to make a difference by creating an evidence based, 126 page E-book with vetted sources, approved by the HHSC (Health and Human Services Commission). The E-book was also approved by TLDR (Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation), which is the governing body who licenses and regulates a broad range of occupations, businesses, facilities, and equipment in 39 industries to promote the health and safety of all in the state, which was necessary for classroom utilization.
● Utilized amazing interpersonal skills, attention to detail and the ability to market myself, while working diligently on multiple projects.
● Utilized several different computer applications to meet set objectives and drive customer satisfaction.
Cons
I found this position very rewarding! However, I would like to work with a company where there is room for professional growth, benefits, and employee opportunities for professional development on an internal basis.
