I liked my boss at the time but I found Ovia to be lacking in strategy and direction for the sales team.

Cons

At the time, they hadn’t fully integrated into Labcorp and they made minimal investment in the product or platform

Good technology but very political office culture

Pros

The technology behind the product is great and the company cares about data security and really serving their customer base. There are a few good management practices like skip-level meetings and 1-1 with your manager every week.

Cons

Extremely political environment. Not just office politics, which could be toxic at times, but also just encouraging politics during the day, moreso than I've ever experienced anywhere. It was bad. The office culture included cliques, playing favorites, sandbagging, being lied to, and god forbid you prove a superior or manager wrong, then you were working on borrowed time.
