The mission behind Ovia's products and its goals as an organization are the true drivers behind its culture and its people. My coworkers are exceptionally smart, hard-working, but most importantly empathetic and kind individuals. I've worked for a few other startups in Boston and was immediately struck and touched by Ovia's heart when I first came on board. There is also the fact that hundreds of thousands of women actively use and rely our apps and services on a regular basis. For someone who works in Product & Engineering, it's truly exciting to be able to contribute to their experiences with consistent and quick app updates and feature releases. Since COVID-19 hit, leadership at Ovia has been extremely transparent with communicating regular company updates. The steps they took to mitigate any potential risks really emphasized the fact that that they put their people first - especially as other tech companies across Boston experienced major lay-offs. They've also been super accommodating to changing lifestyles and schedules, updating their policy to be "office optional" moving forward.

The scope of reach is unparalleled, as is the ability to innovate quickly. - I have never seen so many dedicated, warm, friendly professionals gathered in one company. Even remote during COVID, the energy and enthusiastic culture remains high. - Making Ovia permanently office-optional in response to the COVID pandemic showed respect for employees - Pay is competitive.
