Pros

Good pay, hourly workers are like family. Many of us have been working here for over 30 years. We like it, its a good place to work.

Cons

We used to be Boise Cascade. Since PCA bought out Boise we have been dealing with a corporate management with little dog syndrome. It creates a hostile work environment. Yelling and cursing at direct reports in front of hourly, etc. Our organization has lost a lot of knowledge due to this behavior. Many senior employees left for a better working experience.

Great benefits, decent pay, advancement opportunities within plant, most plants are union shops, overall great company to be employed through.

Cons

Sometimes have to work shifts that you don't want to, work a lot of Saturdays, management never happy with production numbers
