      Pros

      Lots of good people to work with.

      Cons

      Computer programs used were new 20 years ago. Napoleon complex runs rampant. Good 'ol boys club, unless you are a part of it, you career stops there.

      Pros

      Flexible Scheduling and the possibility to make good money in tips if at a good property. If at a good property, you can network and meet a lot of great people and drive nice cars. Great co-workers, but again that is dependent on the property you're placed in. (Request fancy/high establishments for better tips)

      Cons

      Like I said, if you have bad days or are at a bad property then tips can be bad, and you'll be stuck with minimum wage. Most valet work involves working in all sorts of weather, rain or shine.

      Long hours, Little Recognition

      Pros

      Was able to work summers as a college student. Worked full time and was paid pretty well.

      Cons

      Paid less than regular employees for doing the same work, little recognition. Managers not willing to provide a reference for you after you leave. Supervisors were incompetent at times and often make you make decisions to cover their butts.
