Pros
I love that PCA is a stable company with continued growth. Operations leadership is great about prioritizing investment in new equipment and runnability of our plants. I feel supported in my career and empowered to make improvements.
Cons
The company is very decentralized, which can be a good thing when it comes to corporate allowing each plant to make decisions for themselves, but it can also lead to a lack of necessary resources and support coming from corporate for things that are not easily handled by individual plants. For example, communications to all employees from corporate around updates about the company are few and far between, HRIS systems are not robust enough to handle more than the most basic of tasks, etc.
