Pros
-You learn what not to do in dentistry - you learn to avoid all DSOS at all costs. Never again!!!
Cons
-pay- your schedule will be incredibly light with no opportunities to make your daily goal. The company will expect you to make over $2500 daily off ~3-5 patients (many whom are new patients and donât even have cavities). -bad / long hours - even if you donât have patients for hours theyâll make you stay there all day which will ruin your ADP and make it impossible to go above your minimum. Youâll essentially end up working long days to make 30k. Some offices even make you work weekends despite the weekend schedule not even being productive/ full. -poor / limited supplies - dental school had superior supplies than these offices. They are so cheap about supplies they basically count how many gloves you use and try to tell you not to change your gloves. -zero mentorship- was told thereâs a great mentorship program. Thereâs nothing. The owners are typically too consumed with over producing and donât have time to âhelp youâ -quantity over quality - they force you to do shortcut ways of dentistry that arenât to the patientâs benefit - not patient-centered - rather than doing quadrant dentistry they prefer to just have you numb up the patientâs entire mouth and do everything in one visit because they are afraid if same day treatment isnât done then the patient wonât come back - everything - the list goes on. I urge you to stay away from this disgusting place because you will only pick up bad habits here and on top of that wonât make any $. -environment -witnesses multiple accounts of workplace harassment where they enjoy victimizing a team member so they can use the team member to âmake a lessonâ for everyone. Also, thereâs zero diversity
