This is the worst company I have ever worked for!

Pros

If you live in another area besides Orange County, Riverside, or San Diego, you may have a kinder experience. They do raise money for charities.

Cons

Employees and DENTISTS (believe it or not) are constantly berated. The GM's are absolute bullies and I mean bullies, because their bosses are worse than bullies. Employees are underpaid in all positions, and the constant berating and telling you that you are worthless is ridiculous. Many employees have gone on Stress Leave because of the bullying and name calling and embarrassing you in front of other employees. Turnover all the time!! Companies need to make money and this is all they care about. Management and Coordinators are told to upsell dental patients and if they don't many have gotten written up. Completely unethical and I had a huge problem with this. Even the dentist fought against the higher management on this subject and if they did not comply they were let go. The company does not have the best interest of the dental patient only their bottom line as a company. When it comes to taking a vacation or asking months in advance for a day off, you meet resistance the entire way. You can be told you are approved and when you near your vacation day after spending money on your vacation, will be told you can not go. You have great dental coverage but will never be allowed to have work done because they will not give you the time off to have it done.

Lots of potential, but too much politics!

Pros

Most people are super hard-working and easy to get along with. The new HQ building is amazing. The president's vision to be the Greatest Dental Company in America is inspiring. You come to this company, and you feel all revved up to make a difference. And best of all, the company really values balancing work and personal time, so this is the perfect place for family-oriented professionals.

Cons

If you work at HQ, you feel like a slave to the dental offices. If you work at a dental office, you get your fair share of rude customers and crazy production pushes. The company itself is very, very conservative. They don't seem to embrace change very easily, and they like to make quick fixes to things rather than analyzing a problem thoroughly and really solving it properly. It will drive any A-type personality nuts. What's really annoying is all the politics that people have to deal with. You have to jump through hoops to get ahead, and you risk offending so many other people who can have a negative impact on your career if you do manage to get noticed.

Pros

Good Benefits Good Pay Very methodical work

Cons

Too much of expectations from employee...If you are good then they make you do the work of two people Performance reviews focus on your deficits and how to increase the production for the office and are not in line with the employee's goals
