Room for advancement, while challenging oneself to grow beyond current role. Benefits from Medical, vision, & dental to dog insurance. Exposure to learning from executives as well as hearing from the CEO and President, Steve Thorne. Strong belief in ethics, innovative, and on the forefront of dentistry. Allows team members to voice ideas and serve in other arenas such as Charity Water and Mission trips.

Cons

To be the best, we must learn from the best--this means getting uncomforable and changing things up for the better of the overall development and growth of the company and team. If you are the type of person that wants to use the same system for 10 years and not break up your routine and want the easy road, then move on. Competitve, not for everyone.

I am working for PDS since October of 2007. The value and ethics behind the entire company and culture are great.The excellent benefits, pay, and epic culture here are another great point. The company actually does care about their employees. Here is also an incredible opportunity for career growth here. I feel very fortunate to be part of PDS family !

Pros

I love the comraderie that owners in my region have. We support each other and share with each other our success and failures. Learning from each other assists our owner dentists in being able to provide modern dental procedures with a great level of service. We also share with each other what helps our associate doctors quickly gain clinical and financial success. There success will help in my office's success and eventually lead to their future with the company as owner dentists. I love that I am able to run my office in a unique way that will differentiate my office from other Pacific Dental Service offices. On the other side, I enjoy the supported autonomy that allows me to focus on that type of development of my office.

Cons

The only thing that I wish for is that I could turn back time and should have joined Pacific Dental Services a long time ago.
