The management, I'd say at least from Directors down to leads are born and raise in the company or have the professionalism that only related to PDX. Accountability was not a part of their business model or management training and they treated their HB1 employees like indentured servants (especially the East Indians). There is no room for advancement and they don't know how or have not interest in retaining talented professionals who arrived there as professionals. The pay is below industry standard, although the employees who have never held a professional position outside of the company, know that and pay increase are extinct or do not fit in their business model. Change Healthcare got a bargain because if they got at least 80% of their workforce, at the payroll that PDX was paying, they gained profit.
