they have a lot of good compensation and benefits. There is a large range of opportunities. Looks good on resume.

Cons

The work is very repetitious and sometimes it is hard to make it through the week. Some of the other workers are illogical.

The pay and benefits are top notch.

Cons

PECO has become a "corporate" utility. I.e. you won't be working 40 hours a week like the old days. There are not very many opportunities for advancement at the Exelon utilities (PECO Energy, Commonwealth Edison). However, there are many opportunities within Exelon in the Nuclear, Power, and PowerTeam business units.
