- Health benefits - Community volunteer opportunities for resume building

Cons

- From Exec leadership to Dept level Mgmt, no genuine care for employees. It’s always about them and no genuine care for you. - Unorganized and sloppy structure with no alignment for growth and industry - Outdated technology with way too many distrusting errors (ask yourselves why so many employees won’t even bank here) - Red flag: no true specialized departments and instead handle a bit of everything

Worked with the smartest managers I had ever worked with. Culture of team was amazing.

Cons

An employee placed a hidden camera in the "wellness room" , a place for moms to pump breastmilk for their baby. I was videotaped topless in the nude from January to March of 2020. Penfed did nothing to help me with the trauma. They tampered with the evidence so I couldn't even press charges against the perpetrator. If you are a woman or your a man who would never want his wife, mom, sister or anyone to be in a situation like this...please leave PenFed. It's not worth working for a company who leaves traumatized women drowning...

Decent people who are all in misery. Misery loves company.

Cons

No career growth, no promotions. Management leads by intimidation and likes to think that nothing is wrong with the company. Turnover is high, complaints are high. The average mortgage processing time is 5-6 months, people always complain. CFPB and NCUA will likely shut this company down in 5 years for the terrible way it is run. Dumpster fire, run don't walk away from this company. All the good employees do their year of employment and get out.
