      Pros

      PenFed is constantly striving to make every member experience a great one. Management truly cares about members and genuinely wants to provide them the best products, rates, and service. Most employees "stay forever" and the corporate culture is very family-oriented. PenFed is a great place to work!

      Cons

      PenFed is growing fast and has ambitious goals. If you prefer a slow pace, want a job that doesn't change, or do not want to be part of building bigger, better, smarter teams and programs, PenFed is probably not ideal for you.

      Pros

      I have been working at PenFed for about 6 months now. I truly enjoy working here as I am always busy and there is always something new going on. It is a challenging environment (in a beneficial way) and I learn something new every day. The company is growing in size and with that comes change. The team here is on board for change and even in the last six months I can visibly see a difference in not only my work but the company as a whole moving to bigger and better things. If you want a place where you can not only grow but help the company grow, this place is a great fit.

      Cons

      Few people are stuck in old ways and resistant to change, but you will find that in any company.

      Pros

      Good benefits, casual dress code, and opportunities to be promoted from within the company. PenFed also does a lot for the local community.

      Cons

      High turnover rate, only two guaranteed holidays off a year, unqualified staff and managers, outdated technology, and salaries are lower than the industry average.
