      Pros

      Well-respected, great brand awareness on the street, smart colleagues, deep emphasis on knowledge and growth, strong corporate values.

      Cons

      Politics matter more than performance, leadership is missing in all areas of the firm, HR has been given too much power and focus on the wrong things, no longer a culture of debate - just yes men and women appeasing the MDs every whim.

      Pros

      Pay is great. Most of your colleagues have top tier backgrounds such as education, prior experience, etc. Newport Beach is a beautiful place to live.

      Cons

      Wear body armor to work as you will repeatedly be stabbed in the back. This statement should not surprise anyone, you come to PIMCO to trade and make money. It is not a place to come and make friends.
