Pros

PIMCO focuses a lot on improving their employees by encouraging them to continue their education. They do a great job with training employees.

Cons

The company keeps it lean and for younger employees they tend to be VERY stingy when it comes to salary + bonus, which is definitely why they can’t maintain top talent. They also won’t spend money for you to gain access to things that could tremendously improve your output.

Pros

Great training, education, resume builder. You get to work with the smartest people in the world, bar none. Access to information about financial markets and geopolitics is incredible and the overall professionalism is world class. Competitive pay.

Cons

The culture can be very intense, competitive, and is even described as "Constructive Paranoia". Hours can be quite long.
