Pros

Great and intellectually challenging environment with strong reward for work.

Cons

A bit slower and reactive in many domains for good reason. Can be more political with centralized decision makers.

Pros

Strong brand in fixed income. Many good people but also many bad apples.

Cons

While the firm is globally recognized for fixed income, the Asia business is dysfunctional. Asia leadership is ineffective, and there are serious concerns regarding management's ethics and decision-making. The environment has become heavily politicized. many good people have left, both voluntary and involuntary, including the recent departure of the Head of Asia. The culture prioritizes internal politics over actual performance. Be caution and do your due diligence before accepting a role in Asia.
