Cold Calling Job with High Stress and High Employee Turnover

They made fake promises that sounded good. Things would have been good if that was all true. But it wasn't,

Cons

Working in this stress-filled environment can take a toll on your body and mental health. I didn't like the idea of working brutal hours and doing cold calls all my life. There was nothing rewarding about the job as the management lied blatantly. Please avoid trusting them. Beware!

there was always people around to help answer question and give advice. The employees were on the younger side so as an intern it was easy to connect

Cons

In the intern role your leads are terrible and you call on companies that don't even ship anything. They expect you to call 200 individual per day and reach 10 decision makers. This is doable but very challenging. Turn over rate is very high and there is not a lot of job satisfaction

I can't even think of anything positive to say about PLS because of how awful my experience was working here.

Cons

Your commission is only a measly 2%, workloads are ridiculous, cold call quotas are unreasonable, management has no idea what they're doing. Working literally anywhere else, even at a convenience store, would net you the same amount of money while still being able to maintain your sanity.
