Pros

Really good atmosphere to work.

Cons

Everything goes to the top reps. Nearly impossible to make it to a full commission. They want you to gain accounts to distribute them amongst the biggest reps. Benefits are also terrible.

Pros

-Casual attire was a plus (jeans, t-shirt) -Overcome fear of cold calling -Learn BASIC selling skills -Experience using Salesforce.com If you are desperate for a job, then accept a position with PLS. But just know your chances of staying with the company 6+ months are slim to none. Do yourself a favor and get an entry level sales job in literally any other industry. There are better opportunities out there for a recent grad!

Cons

-No work/life balance -Long work days: 7am-5pm + required Saturday shifts -Toxic work environment: This company is a churn and burn, 90% turnover -Office culture is childish and unfortunately similar to a frat house -Unprofessional Management: Manager once dropped the F bomb in an office meeting for no reason. They also don't care if you succeed or fail, they only look out for themselves. -Highly saturated industry: There are way too many 3PL's and other great sales reps nationwide, limiting your potential to become successful. You're fighting for the same accounts that tons of other reps are, and PLS does not make it easy for a prospect to become a client. -Unachievable metrics and benchmarks that if you don't make or you're "not on track to making" , you're fired. -Women are discriminated and not treated fairly -Earning potential for successful reps who have been with the company over 3 years is only about $60K. They promise you'll make over six figures in a short amount of time but it's all a LIE.
