      Pros

      After transferring from sales to operations, I worked under knowledgeable, supportive supervisors who helped me grow professionally as well as personally.

      Cons

      Their sales department is a numbers game; hire 20 people and the 2 that stay after 6 months will justify the salaries of the 18 that either quit or are let go. Their operations department is an extremely fast paced, high stress environment. Since operations staff are salaried positions, be prepared to start at 7:30 and leave at 6 or after in order to satisfy your job requirements. The bonus structure is a joke and in 2 years, I received one raise...They increased the starting salary for entry level sales staff and gave me a raise so I wasn't making less than new hires.

      Pros

      There are always different opportunities that are arising because PLS is a growing company. The job is fast paced but the overall atmosphere is young and fun. I am proud to be apart of such an awesome group of employees who are hard working and always willing to help out.

      Cons

      Some parts of the Job are challenging and very competitive but in any sales job it will be that way.

      Pros

      Everyday is a different adventure. Each indvidual in my department truly makes an impact to the bottom line of the company. There are opportunities to advance if you work hard. I have moved my family twice for the job and both times the company was very supportive.

      Cons

      The workload is a challenge due to the industry that PLS services. The metals industry does not have a great track record for planning. Emergency situations arise on a daily basis and at all hours. There is not much time to take a break due to the next situation.
