Pros

Great Experience. I learned a lot about an industry I knew nothing about. PLS introduced me to sales and I will be forever thankful for that. Great co-workers and fun office atmosphere.

Cons

Cut throat/ turn and burn. If you don't hit $2,500 by month 2 of selling you are fired, if you don't hit $10,000 by month 4 you are fired. I saw a ton of people lose their jobs while I was there making the job depressing at times. Sales training was too short, literally 1-2 days and then you get thrown to the wolves. Zero lead generation when I was told 75-80% of leads would be generated for me when getting hired. Hiring executives painted a much nicer picture than what the job really was. I would recommend staying away from all 3PL jobs.

Pros

I have to write something here... the only pro I found at PLS was that I had an income for 10 months. The people aren't bad to work with, but it's definitely not being run by people that know how to manage and train employees.

Cons

They entice young kids out of college to come join their great team, move them to a new city, employ them for 6 months, then kick them to the curb. I do not agree with their recruiting techniques at all. On another note, I believe that it's a company where the rich get richer at the hard work of others. They let all these new people come in and find new customers for them, then when they fire those people the new customers are given to the "hard working" account executives. Bottom line, it's not worth it... they will come after you with lawsuits if you attempt to get a job for a competitor after they fire you.
