Pros

Fun work environment, people are cool. Open desks, a lot of interaction with people in the office, they run fun contests, people seem to genuinely like each other (for the most part).

Cons

They tell you how hard and long the process of landing customers and building a book of business can be, then give you 2 months to hit a goal (if you don't, they fire you), and if you hit that one, then you have 2 months to triple the total you just hit (if you don't, they fire you). There is no questions asked about your firing, you'll know when it's coming, you'll be short of you goal and start having weekly one on one's with your manager, and then one random Thursday or Friday, poof you're donezo.

Pros

Free for all atmosphere and generally fun atmosphere even for being a call center. Not your normal office job. All 22-30 year old people wearing sweats, hoodies, jeans, beanies, sunglasses inside overall relaxed setting. You're dealing with truckers all day. They also pay you every two weeks so that helps offset the robotic life-saddening feeling of cold calling all day.

Cons

There isn't a lot of training, and what there is for training is irrelevant. That can either go or be revamped. It is 'churn and burn' on hiring/firing. Numbers over people very literally. You battle your own co-workers once youre in 'sales'. two words: Call stats. Also, you will not make more then the salary unless you're there for a year based on the financial modeling of their commission program. but that is another issue....there is no selling in this job. its account gathering, harvesting so to speak. you don't sell anything. all you do is get in line and wait your turn for others to fail. there's lack of regulation that's abused. basically cold calling, shoulder tapping, not making any meaningful money. the job pretty much is unchanged unless you land 3-4 major accounts, all while you have 0 job security after 4 months. at least 2 people let go per month out of about 20. so don't put your resume away. or simply don't waste your time unless you need the money for a few months.

Thanks for the review. We're sorry to see your negative outlook on the job. The nature of the job and business is competitive, but we've set up our training program to encourage and support our employees for success.
