Pros

Great culture, with a semi-flexible schedule due to the nature of being on call 24/7 for my role. Low turnover. Profit sharing was typically good. They really want to keep you as an employee, so its not unheard of for them to accomidate a move to an entirely different department (ex.. moving from marketing to accounting) if you decide thats what you would like to do, and an opening exists.

Cons

Limited advancement opportunities at the Wichita office, due to the relatively small number of management positions and low turnover. In my particular role, you're expected to be on call 24/7, which leads to a few late night calls a month.

Pros

• Generous vacation/PTO provided with years of service. • Profit share & value share bonuses for all team members. • Continuing to evolve both the business, products offered, and team member benefits. • Leveraging, partnering, and researching new technologies to reduce carbon footprint and improve efficiencies. • CEO championing the company’s vision and mission statements to be good stewards of the Earth by supporting agriculture and creating energy using renewable resources. • Improve living conditions in developing countries through charity and technology.

Cons

• 24/7 production environment at bioprocessing facilities, possible night & weekend phone calls to troubleshoot processes, quality, and/or laboratory instrumentation. • Rotating day/night operation shifts at bioprocessing facilities can make communication, training, and team member engagement more difficult. • Turnover can be problematic due to remote-ness of bioprocessing facilities and limited pool of potential team members.
