Pros

Great work life balance in the lab position, Christian company, great coworkers, and never-ending knowledge to be learned that can challenge even the most senior employees. The lab is very much dependent on how the manager wants to run it. Ours is very great environment and low stress. Hours are great with no weekends and can come in early as long as it is approved by manager.

Cons

Work can get mundane at times and to advance in career the only option upward is the quality manager, and most people stay in that position for a while, so it is dependent on openings available at plant to move up the ladder. So, career advancement is not super promising as a lab tech if you don't want to relocate unfortunately.
