Pros

The culture and employee focused environment is amazing. From child/family friendly schedules to lunch time yoga offerings, POET works to make sure the whole employee is considered. They offer great benefits, great pay, and everyone who works here really tries to work together to get the job done.

Cons

If you want to work remote/slack off, this is not a place that would work for you. Good news is for everyone else that means your workload is equal to any other persons instead of having to carry the weight of those who are unhappy.

POET HQ has plenty of corporate resources to assist all departments with any team member needs, and are more than happy to accommodate.

Cons

POET acquisition of Savannah Marine Terminal was a proven culture shock to this mid western American born company, I’m 1985, Lowell Broin and his sons built their first ethanol plant in South Dakota.
