Thank you for sharing your experience—we know it takes time and courage to offer honest feedback, especially after nearly a decade with the company. We're grateful you chose to spend so many years with POET, and we're delighted to hear that your coworkers made a positive impact. That said, we're deeply sorry to hear the rest of your experience left you feeling unheard and undervalued. The concerns you’ve raised—around compensation, stress, accountability, and perceived favoritism—are serious. We want you to know that this feedback is seen and shared with the appropriate leaders. We can’t address what we don’t acknowledge, and your perspective is an important part of that conversation. We truly appreciate the time and dedication you gave to POET, and we wish you the very best in whatever comes next. —POET Team

Pros

Great bonus structure, fun events that build good culture, great people work there!

Cons

Traditional work place (can't come after 8 or leave before 5), traditional PTO plans, underpaid for the amount of time and work put in, leaders pick and choose their favorites and no opportunities for growth

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear you appreciated the bonus structure, culture-building events, and—most importantly—the people you worked with. That sense of community and connection is something we work hard to cultivate, so it's encouraging to hear it resonated with you. We also hear your concerns. We recognize that our workplace structure and policies may not be a perfect fit for everyone, and we’re continuously evaluating how to evolve in ways that support both our culture and our team’s needs. Feedback around fairness, pay, and growth opportunities is something we take seriously. While we aim to foster a workplace where all team members feel valued and have access to opportunities, we know there’s always room for improvement. Reviews like yours help us reflect and keep striving to do better. We truly appreciate the impact you made while you were here, and we wish you the very best in what’s ahead. —POET Team
