Pros

Great Company, I have worked there for 5 years. I got a lot experience in materials engineering. Friendly working environment.

Cons

Money is so-so. If you want to learn more, you need to find opportunity by yourself. 50% business travel is not good for your family life.

Pros

Large company with global reach. Active in a number of different segments with varying working cultures. Growing company - typically by acquisition

Cons

Quarterly driven whatever the medium and long term consequences. Tendency for micromanagement, especially Financial. Conservative and slow to react to opportunities or changing conditions. Sales rather than Customer focus.

Pros

None. Do not waste your time with this sweat shop company.

Cons

Promises, promises, promises but no delivery on the promises. They promise you store manager positions; they promise to pay you for travel expenses when "training " in remote stores from the main store being "trained" at and never deliver. The management trainee program is a joke. I waited six months after I finished the management training program for a store manager position to open up in the local or regional area. Then I was told that I would soon be let go since I did not have a store manager position after completing the program. I was promised a store manager position in the local area, even if they had to fire someone to make it happen. They just use you to pug the vacant position holes that they have created and will not fill because they say they do not have the funding to fill the vacant positions, then they have a wine & dine all expenses paid week long event for the area store managers and sells representatives at places like Disney World. The store I was "training" in, the AC unit kept breaking down and we would have to wait for several weeks for approval for the unit to be repaired each time and the summers in Florida get hot quickly in the morning and throughout the day inside of a none cooled store. The customers were even complaining.
