      strong financially, the largest paint manufacturer in the world. Good products.

      Cons

      Advancement based more on who you have befriended than the quality of your work. work life balance is tricky, 50+ hours per-week and getting worse with constant systems changes upper management too far removed from production sites new forced systems , and lead by intimidation, have added nothing but inefficiency at lower levels - tools to do your job are not available. too many initiatives flowing downward without those above understanding how the actual process. pay low for industry standard,

      Pros

      PPG Industries is a large company to work for which gives you access to several different departments across the country. If you're able to move internally, there are a lot of options to choose from.

      Cons

      It is difficult and time-consuming to try and move internally to a different department. The company is very large and sometimes disconnected. Also, because it is a large corporation, policies are not flexible.
