      Everyone pitches in when work needs to get done, tons of knowledge base amongst all.

      Cons

      Some very very long hours, compensation not great. Sometimes the job isn't very rewarding.

      PPG offers enormous and diverse opportunity and scope for a growing professional. The company seems to have maintained its local feel and hometown heritage in spite of its global reach, which can be a positive and negative - especially when it comes to output.

      Internal resources may run tight, which can impact delivery of projects and results.

      Pros

      Excellent medical benefits. Fair compensation package. Direct management supports their employees.

      Cons

      Extremely large middle management staff. Lack of movement in middle management structure with lower level employees paying price for decisions made by management. No consequence to management. Very difficult to track commission and bonus plans.
