Pros

PPG has Good Benefits, Great Job Security, And provides the opportunity to grow as an individual with training classes and the ability to take on as much responsibility as you are willing to take on.

Cons

Management is not focused on employee morale; they are to busy covering their own lack of solid leadership to provide solid leadership. They build you to advance but hold you back from advancing beyond their intimidate control. Management will not let good talent move up. If you are good at your job that's where you are going to stay because they don't want to move out of the comfort zone. If you are not so good or if you have some issues the will advance you until your issues are not important to them. example: if you cant make it in on time and are not getting along with your piers they promote you so being on time is not important and you are your piers boss now and they are scared to confront you about your issues.

Pros

They have decent benefits, not the best I've had, but not the worst either. The pay is pretty good and they offer annual bonus incentives.

Cons

The worst part about working here is the 10 minute walk from the parking lot to the building, seriously a third of a mile walk. It's not bad during the summer, but the winters in Cleveland are brutal and that walk in the snow is the best way to ruin an entire day. Majority of the people have worked here 30-40 years. If your just out of college no one will take you seriously. As far as training, it's horrible. It doesn't exist. There is no room for new hires in this office. They literally have three people crammed into offices big enough for one person.
