Pretty interesting industry - average place to work

Pros

Huge potential market abroad. Company hardly laid off people in the current downturn, putting more money to R&D instead.

Cons

There is always too much work. In engineering department, too many people get no technical training. You can be there 5 years just working, working, working without opportunity for professional growth. The training budget goes to sales, marketing, and scientists.

Pros

Here I have many opportunities to improve my skill set. 99% of my colleagues are professional and friendly. Very interesting software products.

Cons

Compensation and benefit package can be better. Sometimes remote employees are ignored. Turnover rate is a bit high. Sometimes too much work to do.

Pros

Relatively nice work environment; the people are nice. PROS is a stable company and a market leader in its area(s). Lots of opportunities to learn the components of large-scale enterprise software.

Cons

All workspaces are cubicles. Outstanding employees get reasonable recognition, but some of the good workers sometimes get overlooked.
