In my position, Advanced Nail Technician, not enough regard for my technical needs was given...I arrived on my first day with no technician chair to sit on during proffesional services...No portable pedicure equipment was on hand...The polish inventory was all wrong..No disposable files or buffers..No seperate sink to wash hands, mine or the clients..Only the shampoo bowl...This particular room had one stylist station. The heavy, stylist chair had to be moved many times if the client had to remain in their wheelchair...Two stations should have been installed to accommodate both types of clients..Did anyone in management even think this through ? Needless to say, I sent an email to the Leader who hired me regarding my technical issues...Also, might I add this..I introduced myself to the Administrator of my building..She ignored me, texted on her cell, while eating green noodles and acted like she had no idea what services where being provided, and was concerned about pricing...I excused myself for a moment..I came back with the menu of services...I suggested she review it...I definitely felt like I was in a Twilight Zone episode..I was hired as a floater to another facility in my area...Same problems there..I was requested to go out to look at the room..The room was very dirty and the equipment in shoddy condition..When I asked about the cleaning of this room..My Leader said..We will have to clean it...I was scheduled to go there last Friday.. appointments were scheduled for this unclean room..I went home, thought about all of what I have said here and decided to resign immediately...No position is worth this kind of stress...
