Pros

Good colleagues, trying to innovate

Cons

Middle management is "Yes" man and all it does is attend meetings and pass on directives from senior management to low level Project managers. Their only motto is never say no even to the craziest senior management ideas. Pushes all the work accountability to project managers. Process and filling up silly project document templates take precedence over execution for every body except those who are chummy with senior management. The management has a tunnel vision and does not entertain any new ideas from folks who were hired to bring in fresh thinking.

Horrible Leadership Team

Pros

This is a great firm with a whole lot of opportunities to grow. A few weeds at the leadership level is spoiling the reputation of the firm due their dictatorial management style and constant pressure to work round the clock with absolutely no work life balance.

Cons

There are very few skilled resources left in the firm, but if the HR leadership does not deal with the executive leadership team on making sure employees are treated with respect or the remaining workforce will leave. You cannot operate a multi $billion firm where 60% of the workforce does 100% of the work. We have a phrase for that- Bottom Feeders. That's what they are doing. A bunch of bottom feeders. This could be specific to a department but the back office staff who read this know what I am talking about. This is just my experience, but other teams in other departments will be having a much better leadership team and lot more work life balance.
