Corporate painting a grim picture for nuclear

Pros

Advancement opportunity is available for anyone who is willing to work for it. But, be warned that if you become too valuable in your current position you may not be allowed to move up until they are sure they have your replacement. The pay and benefits are top notch. This is likely because they have to pay a lot to keep people willing to deal with the cons...

Cons

Corporate is currently painting a very grim picture of the future of nuclear in the northeast. The relationship between management and the union is strained, at best. The HR department is very slow during the hiring process, resulting in many qualified candidates slipping away to other opportunities.

Pros

Many opportunities to excel and succeed Upward mobility Great people This company will not let you fail as long as you give them your best!

Cons

Benefits could use a little work Aging workforce, many of the workers that were hired in the 80s are retiring and they did little to hire ahead of these people leaving, this is creating huge knowledge gaps and could have been prevented.
