      Pros

      There are so many extraordinary aspects to working at PSEG. 1st and foremost its an organization that values its human capital (employees). Everyone that I encounter has been at PSEG 15, 20, 30, 40 and 45 years. Great benefits excellent career development and opportunity to within the organization. My position has a 10% bonus structure as well as 3 weeks paid vacation some positions have Flexible hours, summer hours. Its like a dream!!!!!

      Cons

      The baby boomers are set in their ways and not very technologically advanced. A bit rigid but efforts are being made to create more flexibility with this generation.

      Pros

      Good communication from upper level management downwards, but at lower levels communication doesn't exist within the departments. If you're not a supervisor or above, you rarely know what is going on.

      Cons

      This company typically hires from the outside instead of promoting their people from within although they claim one of their value is Developing Their People, they rarely follow through on this.
