      Pros

      You get to keep your earned points from traveling.

      Cons

      Below market pay for consultants. You'll barely speak to your career manager or upper management at all, so no one will be aware of your work ethic and value you bring to the company when it's review, promotion, and raise time. They do layoffs often. They are supper focued on Thingworx and IOT, which isn't taking off as they hoped, so PLM, SLM, RFA, WFM, and other segments are lacking in projects and attention, equating to layoffs, not paying out bonuses, and revenue loss. Be prepared to travel every week as a consultant.

      Toxic environment under the shiny surface

      Pros

      Casual dress. Easy commute. A collection of smart and experienced people.

      Cons

      People treated like lowly slaves by egotistical managers who have no insight to their staff. They only care about profit. You are only a NUMBER and they will fire you at a whim. The exact words of a CEO: "We clean house. If you don't produce at the top level, you're gone." That's in addition to the hundreds of layoffs every time PTC buys up another company and "cleans house" on the previous staff. They just shrug and say it's part of their business. Well they're business is scattered all over the place--people in wrong roles with dozens of tasks and titles. People hating on other people. People not even close to being on the same page or project goal. Stay away from this place. No stability. No organization.

      Not engaging, political, not really behind the employees, compensation is low, "raises" are pathetic
