Pros

Great IoT strategy gives PTC an early lead in an emerging high-growth market, Strong vision and focus by Jim Heppelmann and the leadership team, dead-wood in the senior ranks is out or on the way out, core business performing better, and a great opportunity to make a difference with the focus on PTC 2020, Take a Fresh Look, and Zone to Win.

Cons

Still some areas where VPs don't set vision, lead fearlessly, and are reluctant to change. Some people have been there too long and are stuck in the past with little knowledge of how others do thing today.

Pros

Flexible working hours. Great places for people who don't bother about learning and want extra relaxed life with 10 to 6 or 11 to 6 job. Chill environment. No one jumps on your head. Good compensation in comparison to other in industry. Big player in B2B with giant clients that bring lot of revenue yet not known to many IT professionals in industry in India.

Cons

Not much facilities for employees. Food is pathetic and no actions taken to improve it since many years. Inconsistent increment cycle as per old employees.( I have got 2 hikes in 1.5 years haven't experienced it). No onsite oportunity.Business trip for employees with long years in PTC and that to once in a while for 15 days or so. No scope of learning anything. Some random stuff will be thrown at you and you need to do it regardless of what your job profile is. In name of scrum teams and agile, testing work like writing test cases and executing them is also taken from developers. All good or new work is done by onsite counter parts and all maintenance and testing stuff thrown to indian counter parts.
